ArisGlobal, a drug development software company, is expanding its executive team with the addition of Ann-Marie Orange as the company’s CTO and Glenn Renzulli as CFO. Bringing over 25 years of experience in senior technology roles across several sectors and geographies, including her recent 8+ year tenure at TransUnion as the CIO for Europe, Orange will be responsible for technology strategy, architecture, and product development. Upon joining, she brings ArisGlobal’s women in C-suite positions to 33%. As for Renzulli, prior to joining ArisGlobal, he was the CFO of Paya, where he helped lead the team through a public listing and an eventual sale to Nuvei Corporation.

Closed Loop Medicine Ltd., a techbio company developing combination prescription drug plus software therapy products that enable personalized dose optimization, has appointed Kate Woolland as COO. She joins CEO, Hakim Yadi PhD, on the executive team to guide organizational and operational delivery of the company’s lead programs, products, and commercial partnerships. In her previous role, Woolland was chief delivery officer at ieso, a digital mental healthcare and therapeutics business, where she led product, design, clinical trial operations, commercial, regulatory and program management functions.

Independent Pharmacy Cooperative (IPC), a group purchasing organization, has promoted Darren Thieding to the role of COO. Thieding, who leads IPC's Sales, marketing, and membership teams, will now oversee the cooperative's distribution operations. He will continue to report directly to Marc Essensa, IPC’s president and CEO.

Abzena, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has brought on Thomas Castellano as its CFO. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and capital markets, with a foundation in biotech industry finance. Castellano joins Abzena from the CDMO Catalent, where he spent 15 years in financial leadership roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as the company’s SVP and CFO.

The aforementioned Catalent is hiring Matti Masanovich to become is SVP & CFO, effective July 5. Before joining the CDMO, He served as EVP & CFO of Tenneco Automotive until it was acquired by Apollo. And previously. he was CFO at Superior Industries International and General Cable Corporation.

Everest Medicines, a biopharmaceutical company focused on development, manufacturing, and commercialization of medicines and vaccines, has appointed Mike Berry, PhD, as its CTO, effective immediately. He has more than 30 years of industrial experience in advancing projects, from pre-clinical development phase to commercial stage.
