The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.6% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 45.95% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s pharma industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
AstraZeneca posted 18 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 5.88% over the previous month, followed by Bausch Health Companies with 12 jobs and a 140% growth. GSK with 8 IT jobs and Bayer with 8 jobs, recorded a 14.29% growth and a 700% growth, respectively, while Parexel International recorded an increase of 14.29% with 8 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.26%, up by 19.05% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.84% share, registered a decline of 27.27% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.92% share, down 11.11% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.98%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
